Not many performers had two public faces as incongruous as Bob Saget’s. To fans of the 1987-1995 ABC sitcom Full House and its Netflix follow-up Fuller House, he was Danny Tanner, the earnest, loveable father figure always trying to do the right thing. To fans of his stand-up act, he was the raunchy raconteur whose humor was so blue, it veered into violet. But off screen, Saget was the proud father of three daughters, a tireless fundraiser for the Scleroderma Research Foundation, and an all-around mensch. In this special issue, we see Saget at all phases of his life and career and learn why he was so revered by friends and fans alike.
