Fancy a day out? • It’s incomprehensible, but things seem to slow to a trickle before vanishing into oblivion halfway through September (apart from in Glasgow, where folk are made of sturdier stuff). Has no one heard of Indian summers? There’s still plenty of events to go to, so get out there while you still can, and if you need to, drain your tanks for the winter and coat your ‘winter hack’ with ACF 50. Hack always seems to be a bit of an unfair term for a motorcycle that will go and keep going, no matter what you throw it. Old Faithful seems more appropriate.
