HSTs in trouble in Devon • In previous articles by Roy Kethro, ‘One Engine Only’, we read about the difficulties of operating HSTs over the Devon banks when one or more of the power cars was experiencing problems (see TRACTION 281 and 282). Since the article was published, former railwayman Bernard Mills has found some fascinating photographs in his collection that add to the story.

A LIFETIME PROJECT • Over 40 years in the making, this fantastic layout captures the spirit of the Tyneside area and comes abound with detail that keep viewers enthralled for hours on end.
