Sock Wreath

Well Heeled • I decided to turn a tattered quilt into Christmas stockings. After washing and drying the quilt, I pulled out a fluffy old stocking to use as a template. I simply pinned the stocking to the quilt and cut around it, leaving about an inch of seam allowance. Once the front and back pieces were cut, it was time to sew them together. I stitched around the circumference of the stocking, leaving the top open. Then I simply folded the top down to create a neater opening. It was so easy! I know very little about sewing, so completing this project was exciting and rewarding. Even though the quilt was falling apart, I hope that the person who made it would be happy to see it get a second life.

Homegrown • A Fiestaware teapot without a lid gets a festive makeover.

Globe Trotter • Shake up your next craft night with this cute crocheted snow globe.

Tinsel Town • These charmingly styled mantels keep spirits bright all season long!
