Bach – Leipzig’s Thomaskirche is a place of pilgrimage for church musicians the world over. In 2012, 800 years after the foundation of its choir, the then Cantor, Georg Christoph Biller, talked to Simon Harden about the role of music in the church

Work in progress • The completed restoration of the renowned E.M. Skinner organ at Woolsey Hall is a landmark in American organ culture. Paul Hale reports on the continuing craftsmanship of the A. Thompson-Allen Company.
