Picot Cutting - Create a 3D parchment feather • In this month’s workshop Lesley looks at how to create a 3D feather from parchment paper in a technique known as picot cutting.

Pretty petals • Pat explains how to create this stunning floral card combining traditional parchment techniques with a pretty a hand-painted finish.

Autumn leaves • These bright and crisp leaves are first coloured with a polychromos pencil which is smoothed out with a blending medium. As well as giving a base colour for the leaves it helps to protect the parchment from the small amount of water used with the acrylic paints.

Whitework magnolia • Follow Mary’s steps to perfect your whitework skills and create this magnificent magnolia card.

Autumn splendour • Kay uses the Faber-Castell polychromos pencils to bring the rich colours of Autumn to life with this card

Perfect poinsettia • If you are a fan of grid work, then this is the card for you. There are five different grid patterns in the design so is more suited to the advanced level of the craft.

Painted lady • Mary was inspired by nature in her garden and used oil and watercolour pencils for this beautiful butterfly
