L'OFFICIEL HOMMES

L'OFFICIEL HOMMES

LOVE Triangle • In the hotly anticipated period film My Policeman, David Dawson explores a complicated, clandestine affair, and draws inspiration from his character’s experience.

Essentially FRAMA • With a strict focus on creating beautiful objects for everyday use, the Danish design brand explores timelessness and universality.

Timeless SPIRIT • Frank August is a new brand putting a contemporary spin on historic American bourbon.

EDGE of Night • For evening, step out in tailoring with a glam-rock glow-up.

Flavor PROFILE • Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko is shaking up the French dining scene, from Paris to Saint-Tropez.

fingers on the PULSE • The New York region known as the Finger Lakes is quietly evolving into an under-the-radar culinary and hospitality-oriented hot spot.

L’O HOMMES

BREAKOUT Roles • From swoon-worthy royalty to arch-villain to epic green-screen fantasy hero, Regé-Jean Page adjusts to his newfound stardom by carefully choosing–then dramatically switching up–his projects.

HEART starter • Actor Sebastian Croft on his favorite genres, upcoming projects, and taking on the role of a complicated villain in the wildly popular Heartstopper: “I see a boy who is suffering and afraid of who he might be.”

Group THREAD • For this season’s collections, follow the lines of continuity: intricate plaids, lush textures, and surfaces that shine.

all Dressed UP • Subtle, couture-like flourishes add a bit of glamour to menswear’s essential pieces.

Dossier • While most brands took a step back during the turbulent COVID pandemic, these young French designers saw an opportunity to build their menswear labels, supported by institutions and their own communities. “Beyond their creative talents, we are impressed every day by their courage and their ability to bounce back and move toward the future,” says Christelle Cagi Nicolau, Emerging Brands Project Manager at the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Meet the five designers who have emerged with points of view all their own.

TRAVIS BARKER • The blink-182 drummer on staying centered, overcoming anxiety, and becoming a mentor to a younger generation of creatives.

phoenix Returns • Thomas Mars and Christian Mazzalai of French indie pop band Phoenix dive into their creative process as they prepare for the release of Alpha Zulu: “We write for the four of us, and if we like it, we hope others like it too.”

Curtains UP • After working in theater and fashion, designer Lee Broom channels his flair for the dramatic in coveted furniture and lighting collections.

In their element • The accessories of the moment are elegant yet earthy, with bold textures and shapes elevated by fanciful touches.

Designer Kenzō Takada’s influence on fashion lives on through his eponymous brand’s playful aesthetic.
