At 268,597 square miles, the Lone Star State is the second largest U.S. state, after Alaska. Texas takes up more than 7 percent of the U.S. land mass and, on its own, would be the 40th largest country in the world. There’s no doubt that it’s also big in size when it comes to artistic talent. On the following pages are the works of 14 talented residents who express their creativity in boundless ways.
