The Family Isles • The view from Queensland’s beautiful Mission Beach inspired this painting which displays the artist’s alluring use of vibrant Jo Sonja’s acrylics.

Paddlesteamer ‘Rodney’ • This painting was a commission the artist received during an eight week painting trip along the Murray River to Coober Pedy – encompassing the Murrumbidgee River and a side trip from the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers to Pooncarie (on the Darling) in western New South Wales.

A Bond with the Bush • Broken Hill is home to this artist who comes from a typical mining family and speaks about her deep-seated love of all things ‘bush’.

Minka and Toby – Electus Parrots • The artist really enjoyed painting this picture, although there were moments of frustration when trying to do justice to the stunning beauty of the birds.

Fantasy and Legend • Originally, this artist drew horses and dragons. When she started to chafe at her technical limitations, she began drawing ‘everything else’. Old legends and sagas still inspire her work.

Femme Fatale • With a touch of the gothic, the artist has created a visual ode to the sirens of the silver screen. It is a combination of some of her favourite themes – beautiful women, clean lines, and a sense of the disturbingly macabre.
