A SENSATIONAL STITCH-UP • While many crafters enjoy needlepoint, it's not often that it's exhibited. So, the one-person show of works by Audrey Jean Coxhill, held in the NSW south coast town of Narooma several months ago, was out of the ordinary. Audrey has designed and stitched a collection of pieces largely inspired by ancient Egypt, Celtic, Renaissance and medieval art. A trip to Europe in 1986 was Audrey's initial inspiration and she has been stitching ever since.
