Our goal in ULTIMATE ADVENTURE BIKE AUSTRALIA is to appreciate everyone that’s having a crack — big or small — and enjoying whatever it is that’s an adventure to you. Hopefully, along the way we can steer you in the right direction (pun kinda intended) and bring to the fore just how much fun and how liberating adventure riding is. The adventure bike scene is one of the most vibrant across the globe and nowhere is it more relevant than in this vast sunburnt country. We were built by adventurers and the need to explore is in our blood. There’s never been a better time to do it on a motorcycle with an amazing array of machines and gear available for all. And now they’re finding freedom once again on bikes that take them back in bush and well beyond, in a less aggressive environment. Now is the time to reach those riders. Readers will be treated to the highest quality photography and journalism with bike tests and bucketlist rides leading the features. Each issue will also have dedicated ride tutorials and handy on track how to’s and will be chockas full of gear and accessories that we know this audience loves.

RED CENTRE EXPRESS! • We didn’t have to be asked twice when Honda offered us the chance to test ride the latest 2024 model Africa Twin by joining Daryl Beattie Adventures on a 2,900km romp through the Australian outback.

LAUNCH CONTROL • After riding CFMOTO’s all-new 450MT at the bike’s world launch in the Philippines, Clubby backed up for the recent Australian launch of the bike in the Victorian high country. PAVED WITH ADVENTURE • It’s been more than 30 years since Sydney off-road racer Simon Pavey loaded an XR600R into a crate to move to the UK and chase a life filled with out of the ordinary motorcycle adventures. He’s conquered rides all around the world, including the Dakar Rally, while for the past 22 years he’s run the renowned BMW Off Road Skills training centre in Wales. And he shows no signs of slowing down.

TAMING TIGERS • Sure, we’ve done a stack of Melbourne to Sydney rides lately, but when Triumph Australia offered the Darcinator two Tiger 900 Rally Pros to film a travel review for MAD-TV, we just had to join in on a little tiger taming in the Victorian high country.

PLAY MISTY FOR ME • During a recent trip to the UK for a family wedding, Clubby just had to sneak off to Wales to meet up with a member of British enduro royalty and ride with the world-famous Yamaha Ténéré Experience.
